35 degree improved wildcat Neck Trimming?

Is a 35 degree shoulder steep enough to prevent necks from having to be trimmed back?
I read that 40 degree ackley cartridges never need neck trimming. I'm trying to finalize a reamer print and still trying to decide what I want to do. Those of you who have experience with 35 degree cartridges, any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

There’s more to it than just shoulder angle. A longer case has more brass flow during firing, and even something like a 280ai is likely at some point to need trimming.

Also, any case design will need trimming eventually if you size far more than your headspace.

I don't own one, but have read many times that the 40 degree shoulder is very pressure sensitive at the upper limits. You will have to trim any of them if you shoot them enough.

I have 2. 257 Roberts AI and 7mm-08 Improved 40° (Ackley never worked on the 308 family of cartridges).

I check trim every reload with a Lee case length gauge.
While i may not trim as much off as a standard case, i do trim some off every time.

I have big feet, only thing that means is big shoe boxes... :D
