35" 6mm 8 twist barrel. what would you do with it?

Thanks for all the input. I guess my intention was to find the reason for this length without actually asking that question
I just didnt have the words at the the time.
I still dont think I have an answer for the question no one has given an actual recommendation for that length other than humor or cutting it, I do apreciate all comments i feel that is what this forum is for but I'm still interested in ideas or reasons for this length of barrel.
Thankso_O:oops::eek::cool:

So far I have been designing a cannon in the shop of my spacial relations
Thread the breach for a plug, drill a holefor a fuse, a lil black powder.
Do you think a 223 caliber projectile with a patch will work, or lead ball?
I've been stuck on this cannon thing since you mentioned it.

Good question I was thinking about a breach loading design maybe roaming a straight section to .2435-.244 and enough for the charge then a breach plug with a larger straight bore larger then the chamber area but just smaller then the breach thread?
Then maybe a patch or a...cant think of the word
Kind of a plastic wad?

Maybe that would be good, add the charge the .223 in a plastic wad thing.

That's the word.
It's going to have to be mounted to something heavy.
Do you know or are you a machinist?
I'm thinking elevation and windage adjustmants screw mechanism.
I like hearing about guns guys build, but a mini artillery piece is a clasic!

Cut 5-7", thread both ends of stub according to your intended rcvr, chamber as needed for fire forming chores.
This makes a lot of sense.
Not nearly as much fun as a cannon, but probably the best choice.

I am a machinist and have done a couple before

I want to see pictures of the Canon. Great way to use old shot out barrels.

The one I had left I gave to my little brother about a year before he passed away and I dont know what happened to it.
If I make another one I'll post some pics of it.
