33XC

The Truth of the matter is "How Much of a Gain" will be realized over a 338 Lapua Improved ? - Maybe 50-100 fps in equally built rifles. - And only one source of brass at the current time. - Not saying don't go for it, am saying there are some factors to consider. - Bigger is not always better and if we are talking ELR (And pulling out all the stops) then there's the 416 Rigby case, the 30-378 Weatherby case & CheyTac brass which all can be "wildcatted" into a 338 caliber.
- I've built a few big case rifles and being a "slave" to one component provider is a down-side that needs to be considered before shelling out all the cash that its going to take to make it materialize.

Understood. I don't know if David Tubb was initially the sole source of 6XC brass. Again, I am biased because of the ease (Whitley 6XC II reamer & dies) with which very good results are obtainable. Peterson, Alpha & Norma brass all work well for me. IF I was to go "big" I would be tempted by the 33XC and would have full faith in the brass and reamers like I do with the 6XC.

The brass is manufactured by Peterson Cartridge Company so I'm willing to believe that the brass will be very good, based on what Peterson has on the market at the present time and the reports given by users of Peterson's brass. - I understand and respect your points of view.
Let us know how it performs if you decide to try one.

Outstanding! Go Tubb! Honestly, I'm hoping .338 Lapua Brass drops below 50-25 Cents a Case. Has anyone rebated the Rims on .580" Brass down to .535" bolt face? Guy's like me can only dream about the latest Tubb gun setup, they seem like the bomb.

The brass is of very good quality,as good as Lapua

If I shot my 338 lapua enough Id consider it. But I cant get it out anywhere to make use of it anyways.

Same goes for 37XC. If you aint got 800-1500 yards to play often it aint worth any of it. 600 yards and 338 lapua is stupid easy with mine. I wont waste ammo for much less than 600.

I'll have a 33xc up and running real shortly, hopefully within the next couple weeks I'll have the rest of the components. I've got a 338lm improved also to test side by side.
