338lapua bolt face, wsm?

will a savage 338 lapua long action bolt face work with the wsm? I know its about .045 bigger but will it work or should I look for a wsm bolt head?

You need to get the correct bolt head. PTG sells very nice ones or Midway will most likely have factory ones.

I can't speak for savage but I have done it in a Bat, and a Lawton both lapua bolt faces and ran WSM's and had no issues with Norma or Bertram brass. Since its a savage it is only a $30 change I don't see why not just change it.
