.338 Solids, Jump or Jam

I would say, depends on which one your rifle is more accurate with. But if you jam, remember to drop your load some, due to the pressure being higher than if there is some jump.
Most solid makers advise a few thousands off the lands.
You might talk to the bullet maker you are using and see what their advice is.

Every time I used Solids they liked to jump, and be pushed hard.

How much jump might depend on your freebore because you don't want to seat them deep inside the case and intrude into the powder space.
