338 norma mag freebore ?

Looking for help. Trying to figure out what freebore to use on a reamer for 338 norma mag. Want to use Berger 300 grain hybrid bullets. I want the bearing surface to be above the shoulder neck junction. The 338 , measures OAL 1.819, with a base to o-give of .945. My 184 berger hybrids measure 1.575 OAL with a base to o-give of .820 and I have a .250 freebore. using the base to o-give measurement of both, the 338 free bore would have to be about .300 to .325. This seems to be way to much. Any help would be appreciated. John

If you’re not in a big hurry I will check this weekend. I put all my 338 norma stuff in my storage unit. I can mock up a 300gn OTM and see where its at.
