338 LM and Wyatts CFE-9 magazines

Hi guys

Whats modifications need be done in the TAC 338 LM action and stock in order to accept these magazines?

The reason for this modifications is that the 300 grains bullets take up to much powder space when seated for standard magazines.

Its this a easy task for the gunsmith?

It is the center feed design, and allows for an O.A.L. of approx. 4.000".

The receiver, bolt stop, and ejection port, must be altered to use this box.

The box is normally sold with an F-10 follower.

Outside length is 4.070". Inside length is 3.990".

Here's a video of Kevin Wyatt himself showing exactly what needs to be done to fit the CFE-9 mag box to a 700. As Dan40x stated, you need to modify the receiver mag well, ejection port, and bolt stop.
