338 lapua necked to 6mm ?

Just my thoughts ,but finding a smith to chamber it would be interesting too. Some will do anything for a dollar but the GOOD ones will tell you straight up what they WILL or WON'T do and why.

Supposedly this is one, big image link but it's supposed to be a 338lm with a 105 6mm.

I thought you might be interested in looking at the rifles Kirby sells , and what components he uses . I remember him talking about " powder bridging " in the large capacity case with the smaller diameter bullet . Jim

The case on the right isn't even close to being a 338LM case. Not sure what the original poster was trying to show on LRH site.

That was many years ago when I was having testosterone issues including 338, 50 BMG and 454 Casull, etc. My Dasher out shoots all of them at 1000 yds now.

A few guys around here have them and they put on a pretty good show with groundhogs. A few guys have set up sporter versions and are using the 125 Accubonds and deer hunting with them. After this last season everyone was happy with them, said they were pretty much flat to 400 and there wasn't much tracking needed.

I really get a kick out of what is written on the target... '.16" @ 100 = 1.6 inches at 1000 yards".

REALLY....good luck with that!! LOL
