338 lapua loads?

For the lapua shooters out there, I just aquired a 338 lapua and need to work up some loads, I have 250 gr scenars, and lapua brass, what powder is the best choice? I have re 22, and imr 4831 on hand, or should I buy some n165, h1000, or retumbo? I used some re22 to get it on paper but was not real impressed thus far. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, as I dont want to waste too much $ on fiddling around.

Retumbo is fairly easy to get a load with. I have an ackley improved lapua but 94.0 grains yielded good results.

N 570 is the best powder for me

All accounts say RL33 is way better than the rest. I jus have too much of the others to use first.

Hello Sir,

When I started working up loads for my .338 Lapua there was no Retumbo available so I went with RL-33 and Berger 300's and have been very pleased. Retumbo came available and I have some now but still using RL-33 as I have a working load already.
