.338 lapua bullets and loads

anybody know were i can find bullets similar to 270gr lost river bullets they were solids and how bout any load info col i load one at a time i dont use magazine does seating into lands help accuracy

My Barrett likes H4831 for the lighter bullets and H1000 for the 300s. I tried Retumbo and the gun said that the powder was a wee slow. Same with 869. Accuracy is outstanding! Use the Hogdon loading data.

I am loading 88.5gn of Vit N165, 250gn Scene and F215M primer. I find with my rifle seating into the lands about .010 is where I achieve the best accuracy. As allways reduce powder charge develop your own load and watch for pressure signs.
