338 Lap Mag neck tension and neck wall thickness advice

Hi, I'm new to this site and looking for guidance on recommended neck wall thickness for neck turning 338 Lap Mag Lapua brass and neck tensions for Sierra 2650C Match HPBT 250 gr heads being fired from a Savage 110 BA. Any suggestions or "no, no's"? Thanks in advance.

Ideally, you should do a chamber cast first to find the neck dimension of your chamber, then measure a loaded round with your bullet of choice, then you'll see what clearance you have to work with .

As most factory chambers are generous with dimensions, neck turning exaggerates the problems. I'd shoot for only half or so clean up on the necks as to not over work the brass.
