Think I am going to rebarrel a Savage Precision from 308 to 338 Fed

I have a Savage Medium action with a Shaw 20” CM Varmint taper barrel that shoots lights out. It is incredible with 160 Barnes.

Was thinking about going McGowan on this one. Any real value over the Shaw for a hunting Rifle?
