338 300gr. Nosler ????

Looking at the Nosler 338 300gr Custom Comp. bullets and the price seems right. I haven't used any of the Nosler Custom Comp bullets in any caliber and was wondering if they are a high quality option when you start to sort them out? I am doing a 338 Lapua Rogue single shot over the winter......Thanks for your input........Rick

I bought 100 Nosler match grade 338 Lapua , loaded with 300 grain HPBT for about the cost of the brass.

Shot about 40 each on a 95 degree, windy day. Nuthin' to write home about , ...then:

Went out to 200 yds and the wind totally quit for about 30 seconds. Got off 3 quick shots, then back came the wind and I stopped shootin'.

3 shot group at 200 yds was 0.39 inches. (Damn, wish I could have got off another two shots!)

Anyway, the match grade 300 HPBTs will shoot in my Sako TRG. Now to find out what powder Nosler puts in the case.
