I just got my Borden Alpine back from the smith. It has a Mike Rock barrel, Jewel trigger, etc. I have a custom seater and the only sizer I have so far is a Redding type s bushing die in 6x47 that I am waiting for a bushing for. It is a no-turn neck btw. I took my die to a machine shop today and drilled out the die to .340 to allow for the sized up neck. I also bought a tapered expander to size the brass up (I am using Lapua 6.5x47 brass) but unfortunately the threads on the expander are slightly bigger than the threads on the decapping rod so I dont know what to do there??? Any ideas??? I really wanted to try to shoot her this weekend while waiting on things. I figured if I could just up size the brass and seat a bullet I could shoot virgin brass. Any help would be greatly appreciated, also load data for 110-125 bullets would be great to. Thanks in advance.
