I am looking for a used 30cal barrel that’s 1.200-1.250” straight and a 3, 4, or 6 groove. I will be using the barrel for practice chambering and testing some things. I’d prefer a 30-32” barrel so I can cut off the chamber end to get to some good rifling. I would also prefer it be a premium Brux, Bartlein, Krieger, Hart, Lilja, etc to get the best chance at getting even and consistent lands and grooves.
I figured I’d look for something used before buying a new barrel just to use up. I had a couple “seconds” that I was using, but they’re seconds for a reason and had some off spec grooves and I want to test with a good barrel to make sure it’s the barrel and not my setup.
