Hi,

I'm interested in building a 30BR for 30-600m F-Class purposes. Will the cartridge perform up to 600m and what bullets would be suggested? The reason is barrel life, currently shooting a 6BR that's barrel is starting to go south.

I have a 30BR rifle and I don't this is a long range caliber there is a difference between 'Getting to 600yds' and being competitive. I have a 45-70 that we have hit a 600yd plate with BUT that does not make it a 600yd gun in my eyes. I know that the 45-70,90, etc... have been used at long ranges but better things have come along.
