308win head stamps

Picked up some 308 at local range. There were some SAKO and AP 7.62x51. Ideas on these? Handful of nosler mixed in too just thrown away.

A non-reloader doesn't think about "brass". A few may save some for a buddy. A few will put it in a recycle container. Most just fire and forget.

Yep it's very sad when non reloaders just don't leave Lapua brass behind.
In the many years we've provided a range for friends to use just once was there 15pcs of Lapua left and not even SP Palma.
I do really wonder why I consider them friends.

Any one know what the AP is? I'm assuming SAKO is the same as the rifle company

Some internet sources suggest that AP is a Philippine headstamp. Maybe tied up with Rock Island in some way?

SAKO is the rifle company. I believe that their factory also produces Federal branded and head stamped ammunition for the European market. Either way I had some in 308 and it was just as good and consistent as RWS.

Thought it might have been armscor initially.
