308erger

I wonder about the Bergers for Elk/Deer. Living in Idaho since 1978 I have tried a few different calibers and bullet weights/types.
Berger's manual says the bullets are designed to fragment 3-4" inside the animal and create multiple secondary wound channels.
My preference has always been the Nosler Partition bullet. I prefer deep penetration and a bullet that expands.
Maybe Berger know something I don't...

I had a chance to compare 180 Elite hunter to the 185 Juggernaut yesterday the 180 shoot like the 185 just a little faster in my 308 F-TR rifle.

Berger bullets have been killing animals for many years. Their hunting bullets are made on the original J4 target jackets, and are not "designed" to fragment. That fragmentation just happens. After thorough testing, Walt Berger and Eric Stecker realized and proved the very things that hunters were saying about the Berger target bullets all along. They kill, and do so, quickly.
