I had a nice conversation with Speedy Gonzales about a dozen years back wherein he described chambering a rifle in 300 Savage and then lengthening the neck to 30.06 length. Least ways I think that is what he told me.
At any rate thought about getting a reamer made up for this just such a project thinking such a round would feed well from a 30.06 Mag well/follower.
Lots of guys have made 308 Win conversions for stripper clip loading in highpower but I am think this might be the way to go.
Anybody done such? Would appreciate input. Thanks
