.308 bullet question.

Hey guys I just picked up a match 1/10 twist 5r krieger barrel for my .308
I have ben reloading for a wile and liked my stock remington 700 varget 1/12 twist barrel. I like the 168smk and 175smk. My question is dose anyone use 5r grove and twist rate?. What kind of bullets do you like. Thx guys.

Your new barrel will shoot anything you want. The advantage of the 1/10 is it allows you to shoot the heavier bullets like the 200's and up. Your loads from the 1/12 with 168 - 175 bullets will be close and only require minor tuning.

It depends on what you want to do. You can easy stabilise up to 220 grains bullets but your freebore is important as well for longer base to ogive length bullets such as heavy hybrids.
