308 BRASS from 7-08

Looking at lots of steel 308 but very few 308 brass.,lots of nice 7-08.
QUESTION CAN 7-08 Be necked up successfully to 308 without fireforming.

No problem at all. Just run it through a full length sizing die with a tapered expander button like most come with and you have 308 Winchester. Then you can run it through again and it can be 358 Winchester. I've made 358 Winchester brass from both 308 and 7-08 brass. I like getting quality 308 brass and converting it to 358 since plain factory brass is all that's available from Winchester at this point. You can also go the opposite direction if you want if you don't try to go too far in one step.
