.308 body die on a 7mm-08?

I have some Federal Match Brass in 7-08 that is hard to chamber. Can I safely use the .308 body die to go back to factory specs for the 7-08 without having headspace issues? I tried a few cases and they chambered easier, and you could still feel slight resistance the last 1/3 of bolt travel.

if the Fed match cases are unfired, this seems to be a brass problem, if fired, there is most likely a pressure problem expanding the head just in front of the web, this should not exceed .0015' and still be below case speck when sized. .469-470' is most used so see if your dies are giving you this after sizing, if not the sizing die can be the problem. fired cases should rechamber readily unless the pressure it too high and case expansion too great.Try screwing the 7-08 sizing die in until it cams on the shell holder - size a case and see if it will chamber freely, if not the die is a problem.
