I have one. It was my first 1000yd bench rest. I have not shot it for 10 years. Have not competed for the last 6 or 7 years. Thinking I should try some Reloader 23 and Reloader 26 in it.

Yes they still shot them a the PA. 1000 yard club and one of the guys I know finished 7th in the H.G. 10 match agg. I still have one and also haven't shot it in years was thinking of trying it with some of th RL-33 or RL-26 with 215 Hybrid.

I knew a guy that’s gone now but years ago he held several records at Deep Creek range in Missoula Montana with one of these. I never saw him shoot it he was into Dashers when I met him but he told me stories.

That's where I am trying to get my 11 lb Dasher ready for. Other wise the 7mm has dominated my shooting. I sold my heavy 7 SAUM. It was wearing me out setting it up in your fast paced world open. 65lbs with a 45 lb Seb maxi rest. two hip replacements took the wind out of me. I plan to make it this year. I have a wagon now. I do think the old 308 Baer has some potential with the New powders and a long barrel. Mike

Not much hasn't been tried over the years.. 300 WSM, 6br variant, maybe a 6.5x47 are the most used now. Probably a good reason for that.

I have an 11lb 6Brx I have competed over there with. There hard to hold so to speak but fun relay for sure that Dang Mtlogger is tough to beat in the 11 lb class he runs a smoking little Dasher as well.
