I am almost out of Varget for my 308 palma rifle. I use Sierra 155s(2156) in it. I picked up some a2495 because it much easier to get. 46.5 of varget in a 30" barrel is a proven palma load but is there anything that will be similar? Or should I just work up a load and find out for myself? I have a good bit of n140 but I thought I'd see how the 2495 works.

my answer is you need to shoot a ladder. .2 steps, 20 steps log the data and shot location, then chart the velocity.
i have an early lot that is very slow..no where near listed velocities. i have bought 2 new lots but no testing as of now.

That's kinda what I was figuring. There isn't enough of a body of knowledge like with varget. It's not a big deal, just an extra bit of time.
