300wsm 175LRX H4831sc

trying to find a load for my 300wsm with 175LRX H4831sc max to min tryied 4350 didnt group email barnes didnt reply so any info would help thanks

I shoot that bullet out of my 300WSM with excellent accuracy using RL-17 & CCI 250 primer. Charge is 66gr if you want to try it. I haven't tried either 4831 or 4350 because RL-17 is probably faster & definitely accurate. 10 twist pac-nor barrel.

You really need a copy of the Barnes Manual.
Start at 62 gr. and work up to around 67-68. If you have not been loading the Barnes bullets yet, try jumping .080", .050", .030". I am betting you end up jumping about .070". You might want to try the jump test with the 4350 before abandoning it. I had the same problems with a 300 Weatherby (amongst others) and seating deeper was the answer (as spelled out in the manual) and H4350 was the powder.

H4350 has been the powder of choice for the 1000 yard BR guys. Almost everybody I know uses it and it shoots great. Maybe your gun don't like that bullet or it is the seating depth. I don't ever remember a 300 WSM not shooting with this powder. Matt
