Rem 700 LA SS, face squared, factory lug surface ground, PTG spring and pin, Seekins 30moa steel base, Timney Calvin Elite trigger @ 8oz, Hawk Hill 10 twist 28" Marksman contour barrel, chambered in 300wm match, just a tighter tolerance saami version, no turn, saami freebore, about 3.670" oal with 215 Bergers touching the lands. Hawk Hill brake over 5/8-24 threads. Handle drilled and tapped 10-32 with double sided stud installed and an EGW tactical knob, or can switch it for a Badger polished aluminum or black teardrop. 100pcs of brand new Lapua brass. Barreled action has about 150 rnds through it, Imr7828ssc under 200.20x in Norma brass. Never did the load development for 215s over N570. $1300.00 to your ffl.
This barrel is fast, when I was shooting the 200.20x, it was happy at 3148fps with 79grns of 7828ssc, (Norma cases have a very high capacity), then just over a 100rnds it jumped to 3197fps, and came out of the node, had to drop down to 77.5 to make it happy again. I believe this will tune in over 3100 with 215s and N570. I think it would be around 3060-3090 with H1000, Retumbo, or N565. RL26 and Ramshot Grand would probably go over 3200, but they can get a little peaky in the heat.
Looking for a Mack Bros Element SA mag bolt face, Origin SA, or ARC Coup De Grace.
