4831sc is my powder of choice for that caliber . i have ran light and heavy benchrest rifles with different barrels and all seem to like between 65.8-66.5 grains of 4831sc .. that is a hot load and brass life is the price you will pay but they shoot great . i know its not necessary to run them that hot but it has worked out for me. velocity from 2940-2965
In my experience primer pockets will hold up to 7-8 firings but the problem I have is the brass cycling smooth . Even with resizing with custom dies after 4 firings or so I have not been able to get rid of clickers . Small base die will help but still not smoothHow many firings brass last?
