That will probably be hard to find IMO. - A couple years back I purchased a factory model 12 Savage in 300 WSM and the barrel is a large shank one. - I believe that Savage purposely made / designed the "magnum" line of cartridges to run Large Shank Barrels.

Mcgowen, PacNor and Excaliber will make small shank WSM barrels.
I have several.

Anything "can" be produced, But in the normal Savage Arms Mfger. world the Magnums are produced on a Large Shank Barrel due to case head size.
