I got this in on trade and have decided I have to many irons in fire already to finish. @Jeff Buchanan had this and provided the following information. -
little bit of minor fire cracking the first 2”-3”, however the leade is defined and shows little errosion. I’ve seen 30BR barrels look like this and shoot for quite awhile (2,000-3,000 rounds) longer. bolt from a R-722, but it’s been trued, lapped, firing pin bushed, and Sako extractor installed. Broughton 1.250 straight contour. Action was trued. 1-10twist. 5R rifling, 26" radial removable brake.
I have scoped the barrel and does not appear bad at all. I tossed a factory remington trigger on it just to test function and all seems great. Jeff provided the attached target photo he shoot with this gun as well. I have not fired. Believe Jeff told me he got this from @WesternMDShooter who might provide more information.
Barreled action with remington trigger, NF 20moa rail. Currently weighs 10lbs 5oz. "G" prefix action with glued single shot follower.
