300 wsm +185, powder choice

so i did a search, did some reading, crunched some numbers,
now it is time to ask shooters what they use.
a savage 300 wsm 24" "hunting " rifle. no big heavy bbl.
185 gr bullet
no long strings of fire
what is your go to /favorite powder. ( not a 1000 yd rifle!)

I have not tried it but RL16 (Alliant Powder) supposedly has potential.
I like H4350 - It works well in 3 different rifles that I shoot in 300 WSM.

While H4350 is popular in 300-WSM, it is often not available and highly in demand, as well as it is often priced higher when it is available.
Others I've used: IMR4350 / IMR4451 / IMR4831 / RL16 / RL17
Myself like RL16 best, for its gain in temperature stability and its energy capability.

I've had really good luck with RL16 and 185g Berger Classic Hunters in my 300wsm. Nice accuracy, 2950 MV and often single digit extreme spreads.

well in spite of my best laid plans, the gods at savage have worked against me.
my "new in the box" mdl 11 300 wsm, has a very ugly bolt face, and i spent over a day cleaning copper
out of the bbl. shipped it back to savage today, will have to wait and see what they say. emailed them a pic of the bolt face and the said ship it back, i talked then into the whole rifle not just the bolt.
this is a pic of the original( unfired by me) bolt face:
