I use Winchester brass, 210m primer, 63.5 grains of h414, 168 grain CT, chrono was 2975, 24 inch barrel. Hunting rifle.I have ordered a variety of different bullets so I will have lots of testing in the future. Still open to any formulas and thanks for all the feedback.
No matter what the tabled say 1-12 will not spin 200 and up fast enough. 185 and below is about all that will work with a 1-12 for long range stability.
Several top ranked Long range competitor's results with H380 and other ball powders were not impressive accuracy wise. Extruded (stick) powders had best accuracy at 1000.I located 8 lbs of H-380 that I never knew I had. Im going to try that with some 155 gr bullets just for the heck of it. Who knows it may work.
