300 WM with 215 Hybrids

Just had my .300 WM re-barreled with a Bartlein 1:10 5r, 26", chambered to shoot 208's up. I only shoot steel, but out to 1000. Question is, are the Berger 215 Hybrids tough to tune? Looking at those as well. I currently shoot 210 MK's, but they like to be long, right in the lands. If I move them back the groups open, and they are pricey. Anyway, any input is welcome. Thanks for the reply's.

I just dialed in my 300 WM, same set up as you, but a Krieger barrel. The 215's are at mag length, and .040 off the lands. They love H1000 loaded at 78.5gr. Velocity is 2966 with a S/D of 7.
Shoots a clover leaf the size of a dime at 100, 3" group at 400. Just shot her at 1000 at a gopher mound and hit it 10 out of 10 times. Pretty fun stuff!!

I shoot the 215Hybrids in a big .30 cal wildcat, and found them very tolerant. Started 'em with a mild jump and haven't needed to tune much at all, just stoked the coals to hit a node within a desired speed window. Spooled up to 3150, they're beyond impressive at distance...

I did some load work up with the 215's, got a pleasant surprise. 30 thou. off the lands gave a .214 group at 100. Reloading new batch to go 300 & 600. I sure hope it holds. No info on velocity yet, I want the accuracy first.

Mind sharing your load data once you confirm it's a consistent load ? Brass, powder, primer etc...
