300 win mag in 300 rum magazines

Hello,

I'm putting KRG stocks on both ,a 300 win mag and a 300 ultra mag.
Can I buy 300 ultra AICS magazines and use them for both calibers?
Shooting 210 Bergers seated long in both guns.

300 WM will present a bit high because of the narrower case.

May work depending on how you’re magazine is situated to the feed ramp and bolt face.

Considering accurate mag makes one specifically for win mag and one for rum, why wouldnt you just buy the right one for each?

For what its worth i use 300 rum mags for my 28 nosler and i have a 300wm case and a 300 rum case and both seem to fit fine in the mag and the bolt fed them in my action so it might work

Do you see a difference in where the shoulder area is?

I had to modify 338 Lapua mags in order to handle my 338 RUM.

If i could buy 2 for the RUM instead of 4 and use them in either gun would save some $.
