.300 Win Mag 215 & 230 Hybrid Load Data

I am using the 215's in a 30-06 getting an easy 2650fps. You should be able to run 2900 in your Mag. for a superb 1000 yd. load

No 215 loads, but did some limited testing with 210 Hunting VLD bullets. I got great velocities and accuracy from Reloder 22. I had the rifle sighted in for 180gr loads. The 210's hit considerably higher than the 180's. Lots of potential for long range accuracy!

Wboggs what load are you using with those 215's? also what barrel length, brass, primer, powder, how far off the lands?

I have a Krieger 30", Lapua brass, F210m, H4350 53gr, seated .005" off. No case head expansion with this load. Shoots 0.5" grps at 200yds. A young shooter could do better since my vision hurts accuracy.
With the high BC it would be a natural in the big .300. You don't have to drive it at max velocities.
Hope you give it a try.

Might give it a try in my WBY but more interested in using it in a 30-06 for a friends rifle. Bullets like this turn a 30-06 into an even better cartridge in my opinion.

My rifle has a Pacific Tool Serengeti chamber. Do not know what chamber your friend's rifle has but this load may not work in his rifle. My rifle also shoots 155 Lapuas less than 1/2" at 200. A target barrel on a .300Mag should get 2900 or so. Look this up for a BC of .696 and you will get a good idea of what it will do. Only downside I have seen is the recoil.
