Looking for some loads ,loads that have proven history. Using 2 Bartlein barrels, both 26 inch. One a carbon fiber, one a#13 steel. Put the steel barrel away after shooting 10 waterline groups with 10 loads that didn’t vary from poi more than .250”. The cf barrel is a bit of a problem and is acting like it’s a load/ brass prep issue. Asking if anyone has had heat up problems with shooting a 30 shot session in an hour With a cf Bartlein barrel. The barrel comes off after session and is cleaned back to bare metal each time. First few groups will go easily into .375” or less then she won’t shoot less than .750”. These loads have been In the 73 to 76 grain range. Brass is neck turn ADG for this barrel, and it’s only been neck sized so far, no problem chambering yet. Neck tension varied from .002” to .007”. I chambered both barrels and both have around .001”headspace. Brass is interchangable. Primer mix has been crushed from .003” to .008”. Any help would be gratefully accepted.
Thank You,
Dan
