I'm planning to build it on Stevens 200 .308Win.
The idea is to purchase a prefit barrel, but next question is the bolt face: I cant find on web the part that will change the bolt face from .308Win to .223? Are there OEM or aftermarket parts?

I think with barrel and bolt face part in hand only assembly will be required?

I built a prefit 300 whisper Savage barrel for a guy it was a straight 1.20' barrel at 16' and it was pretty heavy but he loved it. where are you looking to get for a barrel? The bolt heads are an easy swap. Midway sells them as does SSS.

Brownells has the lowest prices but you must have an FFL on file. Gun Parts is more expensive but still a lot cheaper than the SSS site.
I recently bought two LH Magnum bolt heads from Gun Parts,Brownells was out of them) for $52 delivered.
