300 Whisper and Trailboss

I just purchased a 300 Whisper and I am trying to find the quietest load without using a supressor. Im wondering if it would work or if there simply not enough case capacity. Has anyone tried the combo with heavier bullets?

I think that it will take up too much case. My friends and I have been unsing lil gun in the whisper and the trail boss in larger capacity cases (308, 300 wsm, 6 br). I am loading a little over 12 grains in the wsm with a 220 round nose. It won't hurt to try it.

I tried trail boss. Not enough capacity to get to 1000 fps with the heavier bullets. I got to about 700 fps then no matter how much more I compressed, the velocity didnt go up much.

I'm using lil gun also in my 300/221. 8.5 with 210 VLD's or 220 SMK. Just curious... why would you not want to shoot this caliber through a supressor? Isn't that what this caliber is designed for?
