Wondering if someone can tell me the value of this rifle? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

$400 - $450. The refinished stock, receiver drilled and tapped, and recoil pad detract from the value. I paid $550 for a 1915 built 99 in 250/3000 5 years ago. Wood and bluing was very good. The only modification was it was drilled and tapped- otherwise I probably could never have afforded such a classic.

I think you’re right on the money with that evaluation. Collector value is kinda dodgy at this point but it’s a great game killer.

The diamond inlets on the stock and forearm along with a lot of freckling on the metal will hurt the value considerably. Unless you can find someone who is wants a hunter grade and is willing to overlook those things you may have a hard to sell item.
