300 RUM with H4350 Recipe

Anyone out there use H4350 for a 300rum? Looking for some starting points on a load with H4350.

I know someone will jump in with h4350 loads, but if it doesn't work out, I shoot 91.0 of Retumbo behind a Berger 210gr VLD Hunter. Sub 1/2" moa at 500 yds...out of a Krieger barreled Rem 700 accurized. 28" bbl.rsbhunter

Personally, I think H4350 is W-A-Y too fast for the R.U.M. unless you were shooting VERY light bullets. If you are going to be shooting 180 and UP bullet weights, the slowest I would go is H1000. With bullets of 180 grain + Retumbo, VV N570 or even RL-33! Just my 2 cents.

Here is a picture of the end of load development, I have shot 2 groups @ 500 that were under an inch.....wish it was a compact , as it weighs about 12 pounds.....and I'm getting old ! Rsbhunter

I use 91gr of retumbo pushing 215 bergers.

Don't know what is about that load (91gr Retumbo) but it was one of the first powders I tried, saved alot of barrel life and the velocity and accuracy is fantastic ! rsbhunter
