300 PRC Load

I am new to reloading and would like some advice on what powder and primers to start with. I will be trying the 200 and 212 grain ELD-X bullets. My main objective will be hunting but would also like to start shooting some long range (1000 yrd) targets. I have reviewed the load data from hornady but would appreciate some help reducing the number of powder/bullet/primer combinations to try.

Alliant RL-23, IMR 7828 SSC, Alliant RL-26, H4831, Alliant RL-25, Retumbo, or H1000????

Alliant RL-25, Retumbo, or H1000????

Currently, I'm working with the 215 Berger Hybrid over the above three powders plus Norma N-217 and VVN-570. These powders give me a very nearly full case while the others leave the case slightly less full than I like. After burning over 80 lbs of Re-26, I'm climbing down off that wagon. There are better solutions for the cartridge/bullet combinations which I shoot. It's not a bad powder, I'm just finding other solutions for powders which are available.

Here is an article which gives some details regarding velocity and energy:

I don't agree with the Hornady data necessarily although the data on the boxes of Berger factory ammunition seems to hold up quite well for adjusting reloading data. I shoot Bergers mostly and I do not ELD-X at all so I can't help with that.

Reloder 26,Reloder 25 and Retumbo have worked well for me in the 208-225 bullet range.
Reloder 25 is what I am using right now.
Have not tried N570 but have on hand for 28 Nosler so may give it a run too.

Just got back from some testing on my 300 prc this morning. I've fireformed with the 215 Bergers with good Velocity and es. Fireformed brass not as good. Testing Hornady 225ELD match, 200 grain Sierras, 215 Berger, 230 A tips. All done with H-1000. I've done some primer comparison as well.
So far in order of my results, 225 Hornady, 200 grain Sierras, 215 Bergers, and last, 230 A-tips. I've only done testing at 850 so far.
The A tips have a B.C. I can't ignore and will revisit them next week
Picure is 5 shots @ 850 with the 225s 2870 fps,es 12, off bipod, no wind flags
78* 5mph 3:00 wind.
Next week 1650. We'll see how they hold up

Of note on my load. With 77 grains of H-1000 I'm at a 80% fill.
I would like to try 26 but currently on back order. Accuracy trumps speed for me.
