300 PRC Load advice?

What load do you guys have that works great for 300 PRC. Looking to shoot 600 and 1000 yards. Building a custom rifle so trying to find out what reloading supplies might be best. I see Retumbo and H1000 as good powder choices. Just want some opinions. Also does anyone have good match grade reamers for their barrels. Thanks in advance.

The label 'Match' on most reamers is simply a notation that the dimensions of the reamer vary from those in the SAAMI list. It does not necessarily specify that those reamers are higher quality from the standard SAAMI specification reamers.

If you will do a search on these forums you'll find that Frank Green (Bartlein Barrels) and Dave Tooley (gunsmith) did a lot of developmental work on this cartridge for years and they have shared some of their findings with the members here.

Best of Luck! :)

Here's a thread started by Alex wheeler. Very insightful. I would use his specs on a reamer.

My load for my hunting rifle holds well under 0.5 moa out to 1000 yards.
199gr hammer hunter
76gr RL26
3.630 coal
.002 neck tension
Cci 250
Virgin ADG brass
bartlein 26" 9 twist.
3130fps - 2.5 grains under where i found ejector marks during pressure testing.

I would recommend getting the Lapua brass. I just got some and re visited my loads across all the bullets I shot with the Hornady brass. All of the ES # came down a lot! I will say I had to run a mandrel in them as they were super tight. 215s were shooting small, I settled on them again. The 220s look to have a lot of potential. I just don't have enough yet to go further.
