300 PRC die question

Trying to help a shooting buddy with a new RPR in 300 PRC. Looking at available dies, I am leaning towards a FL bushing die but there is some information out there that the neck of the cartridge is tapered.

Drawings I see for the chamber indicate a .001 taper forward, however the cartridge dwg shows no taper. Does the wall thickness change on the cartridge brass?

Is there a special bushing required for this die, or will a straight wall bushing work?

What bushing diameters are you guys using?

What bullets are working best with H1000?

Lot's of choices, not much availability for dies. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The neck has no taper. I have been having good luck with reloader 26 and 200-225 grain bullets. It is a very forgiving round to load for.

.334 bushing for Hornady brass. Or .336 for ADG brass. I’m using a Whidden FL die and a Wilson inline seating die. H1000 has worked well for 210 Berger’s and 212 Hornadys. I haven’t found any magic pixie dust they call Reloader 26.
