So regarding the actions, here is a summary so far:
1 Bat HR,
2 Stiller Tac338 (two),
1 338 RPR,
1 Surgeon 1581 XL,
1 Kelbly (unspecified), and
1 Defiance Deviant
The OP asked what people thought about using a Mausingfield, but nobody responded. I don’t have a Mausingfield, but i like the two different generations of the Nucleus that I have. If you search the forum content for Mausingfield you will learn what the members have said about that action in other threads. If they liked it for a 338 LM or Edge, I imagine you would like it in 300 NM also.
To me several of these would work very well, and costs are going to be spread around from $1200-$1700. My decision would probably be heavily influenced by availability, and maybe a little by cost differences. I’ve waited for over a year to get stuff a few times, and I didn’t like that too much.
