I have a 300 Norma mag improved with a 35 degree shoulder that was built new by Alex Wheeler. The rifle is built on a Bat HR action, McMillan Game hunter stock, Kreiger barrel with a 1-9.5 twist, twist was figured with a patch, the barrel is 24.5” from the front of the action to start of the muzzle, 27” from the action to the end of the brake, the brake is a terminator T3. The barrel is .763 at the brake. Trigger tech trigger. This rifle has less than a 100 rounds and touches them without issue. I also have the dies that came with it, a custom sizing die and custom Wilson seater, dies are included. The rifle has two flush cups on the left side and picatinny mount for a bipod. The rifle weighs 11 pounds with the scope and rings which do not come with the rifle. The scope accounts for 35.2 ounces of that weight and the rings account for 3.12 ounces which should make the rifle around somewhere around 8 and 3/4 pounds. Feel free to check my math, I make mistakes.
If you’re wondering why I’m selling it’s a pretty straightforward story. Me and my cousin (my best friend) had identical rifles built about three years ago, about four months after receiving the rifles he passed away at the age of 54, ever since then my heart hasn't been in this project. I’ve held on to it hoping I would change my sentiments but every time I go to spend some time with it I end up putting it back in the safe. I have his two favorite rifles to remember him by but I’m going to let this one go.
This rifle is first class in every regard, Alex is one of the best and workmanship shows. If I can answer any more questions just ask.
