300 Dakota with H50bmg powder

I have a custom 300 Dakota Tactical rifle. When I first started reloading for it I was told to use 300 Weatherby max data and work up to 300 RUM start data as a max. I e-mailed Hogdon and they never had Dakota round to work up info on.
In the hogdon manual they list 96gr H50 with a 200gr bullet as a start load. Can I reduse this load and use this powder? I normaly shoot a 208 A-max, if this helps. Thanks for any help.
