300 AAC blackout bullet

Has anyone tried the Sierra 300 blackout 125gr. bullet in the 30 BR? At least they are available!!

Aren't those pretty long, Gary, kind of like a VLD? If so, they probably wouldn't stabilize in the 17 & 18 twist barrels used by most 30BR shooters. What do you think?

I've emailed Sierra to ask on the twist to stabilize at 30 BR velocity. Will report back.

Have you tried the Speer 125 gr TNT? I shoot them in my 30 Major AR at 2600 FPS. It is a 17 twist. Shoots great. Very violent on predators,

125 TNT is currently my go-to bullet for 300BLK. Lotsa bullet for the money, just a little hard to find (like about everything else) these days.

I shoot the 125 gr Nosler BT in it also. Want to try it on deer, but no chance here in Ohio.

Have a 500 count box haven't tried them yet, playing with 155 HPBT's just now.
