30 Major annealing

Does anyone have a setting for the 30Major using the AMP annealer?
I assume I would use the Grendel pilot.

I can't be much help except to say that it should be very much like a 30BR, given equal neck wall thickness. The neck is about .070 shorter than the BR. I don't own an AMP, but don't they index off of the shoulder? If so, I'd think the setting would be the same for both...but I may be totally off base.

Personally, I haven't annealed for short range in several years. Brass life has been excellent and primer pockets typically go before anything else. I've gone as many as 50 firings, though.

50 was a few more than I should've pushed them but I didn't see any accuracy degradation with it until the last couple of firings. It started double grouping. New brass fixed it at that point.

I don't knock anyone that chooses to properly anneal their brass but even at 20 firings, brass becomes cheap, relative to a $1500 annealer. Just my 2 cents.

You use the #16 pilot (Grendel) just got my 30 Major but haven't shot it yet, do you have Aztec?

use the aztec mode and Grendel pilot. No one can tell you what program to run. Too many factors.
