Thank you for looking, $300 obo shipped. This barrel is a used 223 Remington that I took off an F Class gun that I purchased at an auction a couple years ago. It has around 800 shots through the tube. It is an ultra heavy, varmint contour, straight, 1.250 for 5 inches and then finishes at 1 inch muzzle diameter. It was chambered by Holland rifles in Madison Ohio while they were still in business. Mr. Holland has since retired but the barrel wears his trademark, and the chamber stamp. It had his proprietary chamber in it for a 223 Remington with a 90 grain Berger, his favorite load. It was headspace’s for a .250 recoil lug that was just taken off this morning and shot in the fall. I shot a 585 with a medium the last 600 yard match that I shot with it. I never did shoot 1000 yard. Nothing wrong with the barrel it can be turned on and used the way it is or it can be treated like a blank and re-chambered. The lead on this chamber is very long. There is no cracking or fire damage on the inside, but there is still some carbon that I haven’t scrubbed out. There is also a scuff in the finish, that is from the barrel vice nothing major. I would appreciate a call or an email and we can talk directly about the barrel. My name is Glenn 330-233-7621 a midnight worker. The load that I used to routinely shoot half minute groups was 24.5 grains of Varget loaded on the lands with a 90 grain Berger or the new 90 grain A tip hornady, I have decided to go a different route. This rifle being re-chambered into the 308 family.
