30 BR & Trailboss

I'm in the planning stages of a new project and am asking for a little information. Can someone that has a 30 BR case (or any BR for that matter) and some Trail boss powder tell me how much powder you can get in the case? I have a couple pieces of 30 BR brass, but I'm not willing to drop $20.00 for 9oz. of the powder just to check the volume. Thanks in advance for any info you can supply,

I can get 13 grains of TrailBoss into a 30BR case full to the top of the neck.
My 9 ounce bottle says $12.96 on it but I don't remember where I bought it.$20 sounds steep for 9 ounces of powder.
If your going subsonic and using the heavy 30 caliber bullets you won't be able to use nearly that much powder and still be able to seat a heavy bullet.

are you married to trail boss? I use Lil Gun in my 300/221 shooting a 200 grain SMK.

I know $20.00 is high, but I just checked on it the other day and 9 oz. was priced at $19.95 at the local shop.

Thats about perfect. 10-10.5 gr. will drive a 200gr. bullet just under the sub-sonic zone.

No, I'm not "married" to Trailboss so to speak, I'm just trying to work with a .473 boltface without using a 308 with all the extra capacity and work of prepping flash holes etc. I'm thinking simple load and go with the 30 BR. A 200 gr. bullet in that case looks very business like, and fits a magazine as well!
