30 BR hunting/target rifle

Greetings. I am a newbie here so please go easy on my.

I am wanting to build a 30BR bolt action rifle for informal bench and occasional hunting use. Could anybody tell me a way to get the 30BR to feed from a magazine? I understand that it is normally a single shot catridge and causes problems when fed from the magazine from most actions. I really want a 30BR and am ready to sart buying parts if I can find some way to do this with reasonable success.

I am also open to the idea of using a cases similar to the 30BR in size but not as big as the 308 in capacity.

Thanks for your help,
Jim

HI

What I'm having built is a 6BR 30 BR switch barrel hunting varmint rifle.

I'm useing the Tikka 595 action in 308 boltface. Use 22/250 magazines and the round should feed fine.

Look at the guns of the week about the 20 paractical, week 61 i think) and there is a comment about the 22/250 magazine feeding the 6 Br round as well.
I have test fed 6 BR rounds with 85 grain SPBT in the 22/250 magazine and they have fed not a problem.
The critical thing seems to be using the 22/250 magazine in the Tikka 595 action to get it to work properly.

I'm waiting for the return of my rifle from the smiths so I cannot give you any indication other than what people have told me and what I test tried myself.

My 30 BR barrel is being built as a hunting rifle also.

I built a hunting level rifle in 30Br by starting with a Ruger M77
in 22-250. Rebarreled it and still use it today. The 30Br feeds
well from the existing magazine.
